Here's an unusual early 7 inch recording from my collection. From late 1899, this is a very early original recording by the fledgling Zonophone Company. Only the catalog number, 'Vocal Solo" and artist credentials are present. And, amazingly, no title is present! I hope that you enjoy this selection played on my early front mount Victor Type 'E' Talking Machine. Thanks for stopping in for a vist and be sure to stop by again anytime.

  • Is this recorded on one side? I saw one of those once - very strange. Didn't get to hear it. I love the announcements at the beginning!

  • @ferociousgumby Yes, this is a very early single-sided 7 inch record. I enjoy the early announcements as well. Thanks for your comments.

  • Super good stuff. Love old stuff. Love more when people appreciate and preserve it.

  • @MrNightOwL100 Thanks for the great comments!

  • Pretty good early disc! I think the title is "She's an All Right Girl".

  • @MrXnews2 Yes, the title is indeed "She's An All Right Girl" which I also indicate in the intro caption (page 2) before the video. Thanks for your comments.

  • wow! The earliest Zonophone I've ever heard. Had it not been for the announcement I would have suspected a Frank Seaman-pirated Berliner master. Your Victor E looks and plays beautifully.

  • i also have anchient stuff from 1899 like my old newspaper the evening post saturday 30 1899

  • @MusicBoxBoy I just noticed! Sorry about that...I guess I didn't read closely enough. Still an interesting disc!

  • @EdisonSquirrel Thanks Rocky. Always good to hear from you.
