  • Hello.

Just one question: Where and HOW is mounted the sportscam on 3:50??.

    Thank you!!!!

  • @JohnCoffey2 Hey John, It was mounted by suction cup to the front wind shield.

  • OK, In order to get a good understanding of the visual comparison, ***BOTH CAMERAS MUST SHOOT SIDE BY SIDE.*** The exact same way.

  • @morgando2 agreed. If I had the same mount for both I would have done so...

  • the hd hero, colors are nice, sound sounds ok, but a camera of about €300, without a screen?? it's 2011, every €20 mp3 player has a color screen on it, so you can see what you're doing, but there's no need to see what your filming, crazy camera....

  • lame video. the HD170 is shooting through the windscreen, which distorts the image, and the GoPro doesn't.

  • Why do so many people keep repeating the same statement dumb asses why don't you read previous comments. As for the rider he looked gay as sat up like that. Bend ya arms man lol

  • why does the hd170 have so much wind noise but the gopro dont?

  • @irikewontons They are cameras, not fucking sports teams....

  • you keep shooting the drift through the windshield an the go pro clear of windshield why?

  • @alang0606 Behind the screen = best place for minimal windnoise. The GoPro was actually in a worse area for turbulence.

  • @DUCzillaMonster You can get a screen for it, and don't complain that it's stupid for not having one fitted as standard on such an 'expensive' camera, as if you look at the world of sport cars you pay more for less and less = lighter and greater preformance. Without the screen as standard the GoPro is a lighter, smaller, can fit the standard housing on the older HD model and uses up less processing power, which in turn also means a greater battery life.

  • Agreed, "this was not a scientific comparison." The mounting locations of the cameras are so very different as to render this exercise as one in futility. Sorry to say I found this comparison lacking and not helpful but thanks for trying. Next!

  • GoPro all the way, all of you drift fans... Suck it!

  • Why did he put the Drift in all the worst places (eg behind the bike's screen) and not the Go Pro. This makes the shots non-comparable. This is why I'm voting the video with a thumbs down.
