This great Yankee Clipper (I enjoyed... before lost to auction...) was bought originally from the Vanderbilt family by the company founder for something like 25G's....

I've never had the chance to go on a Windjammer cruise in the Caribbean.I love tall ships and the beauty of sails full with the breeze.I saw on the Internet yesterday where Windjammer is in some serious financial trouble with cruises being cancelled at the last minute and crews not being paid.Bankruptcy is a very distinct and sad possibility for this company.The founder's son isn't saying too much at this point but is trying to get crews paid and the fleet back on the waves where they belong.
