The Avett Brothers "If It's The Beaches" - Amsterdam 2011

The Avett Brothers perform "If It's The Beaches" at the Paradiso in Amsterdam on Wed 8/24/11.

After apologizing to Seth (Seth doing a shimmy-slide away), Scott says to audience "And so the drama of this song changes quite a bit... [with stitches...]" Hilarious. And precious. Comedy aside, it was magical to experience this intense song among a quiet audience. Sorry about the sound - my hands were nowhere near the mic - could have been overmodulation from the speakers.

I must see the boys play in Europe. Such a respectful and attentive crowd. You can't hear the notes when they play in the states from all the drunken screaming. Thanks for posting.
