I found this article very unprofessional at best. Obviously very hastily thrown together, many poorly-chosen and weak word choices, and insignificant personal information about Jaimie that have nothing to do with the article and actually seem to put him down. Nothing that I would expect to read in a Times article.

Rosenbaum missed a huge detail about Jaimie's project by failing to mention his multiple youtube videos which chronicle this beauty's construction.

@Tinla1 She probably used gay in the queer sense, as in something odd or unusual (which was the original meaning of the term). Her intonation implied the negative, not her words. Since queer has come to mean homosexual, and people still use queer to mean something unorthodox, other words for homosexuality have been roped into the old meaning for queer. I don't think a person is necessarily implying anything about homosexuality when he describes something as gay or queer, though some people do.

It sounds like she was trying to analyze you, as if she was your therapist, very weird article indeed. I like the way you live and what you create, your videos and so on, but I have a question about something Dashaina said "kind of gay" what does that mean? I'm gay so I'm just wondering why that word is being used as something not positive. You seem like openminded people in general, so it kind of surprised me a little to hear a comment like that. I think they way it is written is kinda strange. :P Lets write an article on god and pretend your him ? uhh jeah. I love your vids. It makes me feel i'm not the only "strange" guy with weird idea's.
