I received my first C as a first year in college. I calculated that if I continue to get A's (which is possible at UCSD-neuroscience), the highest gpa i could get is a 3.92. My goal is to get into a "top-tier" medical school. I have significant research and volunteering under my belt. I am also trying to start my own company as well. I took my practice MCAT and received a 32 as a first year student. Can I still achieve my goals? Thank you! I have been worried about this for a while...
@givemewisdom Citizen is right - and the truth is.. nobody can afford med school! An amazingly high amount of students are on financial aid. I'll be beginning medical school this August and will have 100% come from loans/grants/scholarships. Do not let the money discourage you at all if your heart is in it!
Great to see your videos popping up on my YouTube screen again, Sean! I hope all is well with you. Let me know if you're ever near Dallas!
@givemewisdom Everyone can afford med school. The government gives enough loans to cover all your classes and books. Then you can get private loans for your living expenses.
