OMFG! I had never heard of Lydia Lunch before but this just clicked: Dr. Girlfriend from 'The Venture Brothers' TV series is a spoof of Lydia Lunch! Totally just got that!

@hoipoiboi Aside from a touch of the NY gruffness (which is par for the course, as I can attest as a NYC native) she's quite articulate and composed.

I Listened to the whole interview and it totally rules! I love Lydia. I talked to her after a book reading gig in Seattle, and afterwards I felt so many emotions I ended up crying on the bus home....
I avoid using terms like heros or idols, but she's definitely a huge inspiration to me.
