The Cross Of Groom Texas!

This is a movie slideshow of the Cross Of Groom Texas. Statues around the 192ft tall monument depict the events of the Crucifixion Of Christ as described in the Bible. The location is about 50-60 miles west of Amarillo. It is TRULY remarkable. I only took pictures of the crucifixion of Jesus, but there are many other sites to see here such as the 10 Commandments and an Anti-Abortion site.

Think about this, though. Nearly 50,000,000 people have died. That's a LOT of people who will NEVER have a dream or an idea. 50,000,000 people who work from the time they're 20yrs old to the age of 70yrs is 50yrs of 40 hour shifts. At 8$'s an hour, that's 800,000,000,000$ in take home pay ALONE! Not product produced.

I personally built a LARGE PART of this cross! Even though I'm not religious at all I have enjoyed the cross immensely and give every credit to the influence of religion in making this the greatest nation on Earth! It was an awesome project and I want to give credit to my co-hort that also put in countless hours at the cross, the builders brother, Greg Thomas!
