Learning To Fall - Max/Alec

Just another story vid for my favorite couple! The song is from Alec's POV.

I think it's pretty easy to follow, but just in case:

STORY:
Vid begins with Alec discovering Max and Logan have gotten engaged. Joshua and OC throw the couple party to celebrate and Alec shows up but Max isn't happy to see him. Dinner is tense and halfway through, Alec walks out. Both Max and Alec flash back to a one night stand the two of them shared before her engagement.

As the days press on, Max can't get Alec out of her head and keeps remembering that night and everything that led up to it. Alec and her both get the same idea to head to Crash the night before her wedding. Max, while sitting with Logan, sees Alec at the bar and remembers more of that night but when Alec makes eye contact with her she looks away. Alec gets himself really drunk as he remembers more, including how Max left immediately after. Max is very torn.

The day of the wedding comes and Max leaves Logan at the altar and heads off in search of Alec who spent the night getting drunk at Crash. Logan tries to call Max but she doesn't answer her phone. She's too busy getting Alec's attention by driving her motorcycle into his apartment and reving the engine. Max and Alec get together while Logan is left all alone. Happy Ending! (Yeah, I'm not a Logan fan.)

They actually don't. This is all AU. If you listen to the commentary on the last episode (I think that's the one) they mention that Max/Alec probably would have become canon in season 3.

I haven't listened to it in a long time, but as I recall something was said about them exploring more of Max and Alec's relationship in season 3.

I can't say about the commentary because I haven't watched it yet, but there's a behind-the-scenes video that has one of the producers/important-person-who­se-title-I-don't-actually-know talk about how Alec was a love interest, someone to rival Logan. Basically, he and Max would've eventually got together.

Sux that season 3 wasnt made, Max & Alec were becoming much more friendly at season 2's end. And in the post-Freak Nation DA novels I've read about, I'm getting them soon.

I lol'ed at the end of the vid, I dont hate Logan but it was just funny.

i absolutley don't like alec/max. i LOVE logan/max <3 alec just gets in the way, plus wouldnt it be wierd for max because alec looks like her brother...

contd: well, that's just MHO anyhow. I think Logan & Max are a perfect fit & another season of the two of them working through issues & the virus "bitch going down." they'd have become even better together. Plus, there was a lot of untold stories btw them that would fill another season to reach that trust stage so it'd been great if it went on & ended on a solid note with M/L together. Alec has his moments & hides his emotions alot but I never really or truly pictured him w/ Max. Agagin, IMHO.

I love the Max/Logan coupling. It's a push/pull relationship w/nothing coming easy for them. I guess I like it most b/c it's so how my 2nd marriage went. b4 the marriage. It took 5+yrs, slothing thru the baggage, fears, worry of change, trust issues, anger mgtmt, etc... but when we got there & my brain clued into what my heart already knew, it was worth all the fights, my needing space, baggage, & other issues. It takes work & isn't easy but it's worth it. L/M are flip sides of a coin & perfect.

Yeah! Another Logan hater! I've hated him for the whole series, but most people like him. (Weirdos) It's nice to finally find a normal person who doesn't just follow the original canon pairing like its a lifeline no matter how weird/stupid the couple is.

Alec was totally in love with Max on the show. I liked Logan & Max together. I just thought that under her condition & how she couldn't even touch Logan, that her and Alec should've been together. And they hinted many times how Alec felt for her.

This was a very well-told story, super scene selection and music and such a SQUEEEEEEEE ending!!! LOVED LOVED LOVED and faved :) And l quite like Logan too, the kick at the end was hilarious :D  Nice hot scene selection to b/w 'Max/Alec" too :P

Extremely well done! Brilliant editing and great song choice. I don't ship a lot of couples but I confess I'm just obsessed with the idea of Max and Alec. I really wish we'd gotten our Season 3 hookup.

Dude, is M/A would've eventually happened (YazziGazzi and Sadja87) I would've flipped. Like many have said, my favorite couple!! :D I might hafta go look for the books now if that's true... ;)

This is probably the best Max/Alec vid I've seen yet! Great job. ^_^
