@quazimutato The new ones must have that all taken care of, i have one on my 03 cobra and one on my 99 GT, and plenty of buddies who have the setup on their cobras as well, all satisfied. I have heard or older units having shitty fitment.

Best sounding? Perhaps....quality craftsmanship and good fitment with 2003/04 Cobra's??? No fucking way!!! Just listen to all of the people who bought one and had it sitting against their gas tanks due to a shitty design. I should know, my '03 had a MAC exhaust and when i replaced it with my Bassani, the MAC exhaust had literally burned the plastic shield around my gas tank.

That's the beuty of Mac cat-back fitment, its the worts fitment of exhaust, get some borla stingers before u burn the gas tank plastic cover.

is that true about mac catback systems? They burn the gas tank plastic cover??

Any exhaust that is not properly fitted will burn the gas tank cover, as long you make sure its not touching the cover it should be fine

LOL I shot this vid right after I installed it. it's only the Driver side thats crooked and I fixed it sort of, it needs to go to a muffler shop to get it perfect
