  • is that true about mac catback systems? They burn the gas tank plastic cover??

  • Any exhaust that is not properly fitted will burn the gas tank cover, as long you make sure its not touching the cover it should be fine

  • Dude you need to fix those tips they arnt straight with the bumper.

  • LOL I shot this vid right after I installed it. it's only the Driver side thats crooked and I fixed it sort of, it needs to go to a muffler shop to get it perfect

  • @quazimutato The new ones must have that all taken care of, i have one on my 03 cobra and one on my 99 GT, and plenty of buddies who have the setup on their cobras as well, all satisfied. I have heard or older units having shitty fitment.

  • Best sounding? Perhaps....quality craftsmanship and good fitment with 2003/04 Cobra's??? No fucking way!!! Just listen to all of the people who bought one and had it sitting against their gas tanks due to a shitty design. I should know, my '03 had a MAC exhaust and when i replaced it with my Bassani, the MAC exhaust had literally burned the plastic shield around my gas tank.

  • That's the beuty of Mac cat-back fitment, its the worts fitment of exhaust, get some borla stingers before u burn the gas tank plastic cover.
