over 400 still in regular revenue service around the world after 75 years including service in the harshest conditions on earth. how many airplanes can say that and how many airplanes built today will be able to say that in 75 years. the dc3 is in a class all by itself. i wished commuters still used them, i would make it point to take a flight to nowhere just to fly on the mighty '3
