I went to SIU for two years and remember taking Amtrak to and from Carbondale during winter and spring breaks. Train rides were over five hours long and 325 miles.

if you havnt been back a update from someone that live in carbondale, SIU is building a new football stadium and theres be a lot of other changes, but still a boring town unless you go to the strip on a good night lol

damn good music and the amtrak from chicago to carbondale is a long ass ride i used to take it every weekend lol

at 2 min i lived in the 10 th floor of the tall buildings schnieder hall and 18 years ago. room 1028. weird i can remember the dorm room number even. it was facing the rec center.

thanks for posting this i went to siu in 90-92 with both my brothers and some of our most fun memories are from our time here. the memories.
