too much water lol... as a soil guy... I am just kidding. its a balancing act for sure to get that compaction Job Specs 90 or 95. always tried for 95% compaction I say to pass that yellow Nuc gauge test.

@71Warrior4Jesus This stuff is "merton" it is lava like material and only breaks up when you water the hek out of it. Looks weird I know. But the next you have to do it again. They don't really test it because it is so odd. But in order to get it to dirt we have to do it, they want puddles. I am working in Roseville now and have a long strip of sandy material which takes mega water.

This is Jeremy of Teichert Construction operatin g the water truck. This is 2007 when there was alot more work.
