Cable operated whole house water shutoff valve. Easy access in laundry room, does not affect sprinklers. I built this after a flex line on the hot weater heater burst when I was 250 miles from home. It was a huge mess.

  • Definitely extra points. Don't know about the marital aid, could end up like the couple who used the Saws All. Hm, would you make a spinny thing, a back and forth thing or a vibratie thing? The back and forth thing is what got the other folks in trouble. : } Might be best to use a Harley and a soft Fuller brush. Ok, I've been up way too long.

  • @scotty2307 Harley engine...you got me thinking...

  • I like it! I knew there was a reason I subed you, LOL.

  • @scotty2307 Thanks Scotty. Do I get extra points for using the throttle cable off the old Perkins Marine Diesel? What to do with that motor.....hmmmmm, how about a diesel powered marital aid???

  • Ball valves are so much better than gate valves I don't know why they don't come stock on homes. My valve is in the garage behind some of my engines and under some shelves. I should rig up something like this myself. As far as the Perkins engine goes; put it in a compact pickup truck. I have seen a few Toyotas with Perkins engines.

    Merry Christmas.

  • A handy way to turn off your water to avoid any nasty surprises on return from your vacation.
