Trucking: My first step deck load

They gave me 3 loads to choose from this morning. One was a tarped load, I said no thanks. One was a short load to Wisconsin that paid well. And then this one that pays even better and they told me I would be in and out of the shipper in less than an hour, 4 chains and hit the road. I said Oh yea, thats me right there, lol

those chains don't look big enough for that size of truck..

@ShannonCole888 Plenty big enough, they are 3/8 chains. 5/16 wouldve held it just fine as well. It was only 21.000 lbs

great maybe next time you get your first Double Drop Trailer load. Then maybe later gets to haul a million pound machinery with an HLS tralier.

@tangnatalaga Yea man, I love pulling a double drop. The only thing is, I may have to sit a day waiting on an RGN load though, but it pays better. If I had to choose, I would stay under a step deck all the time.

Sweeper going to Baltimore area??? We find it's more cost effective to ship 2 at a time -- oh yeah, that's right, you have to be selling more sweepers to do that!!
