  • Cost plus allows so many contractors to rip off the American Taxpayer...have you ever seen how lavish some of them live over there when our soldiers are sleeping in tents?

  • There is nothing wrong with cost-plus contracting, but like any contract it requires oversight. If a contractor meets the terms of their contract, they deserve to have their expenses reimbursed, and make a profit.

    Fixed price contracts are no better as they also waste money... the contractor just sets their price way above their costs to guarantee a large profit.

    The government is always cancelling or altering defense contracts, so cost-plus is only fair to contractors.
