  • PODUJEVA SONG!!! HIT 2011!!!

  • hehe ani podujeven.

  • We were forever having a kick around with them at the school in Podujevo, and also in the outlying villages, Donje dubnica was always good for a game and we used to have coffee with some of the village elders. We spent quite a lot of time in the Majanc valley right up in the hills in some very remote areas. When i first went up there it was like Nato had only just arrived in the country because the people hardly ever got out of their village to see us. We had to guard the border gates as well

  • the best thing in kosovo is that they always go to drink a coffee and to talk to friends :D

i think they like you and your friends a lot :)

its getting a good country....more and more people get a job.

well i think the older people are only happy living in a free country and they'll never have a problem with the nato, because they did a great job

but serbs have the right to live, too.

did you talk a lot to the kids?

did you play soccer with them, too?

  • Yeah, being "Nato" we got on very well with the kids in town, over the course of 6 months we got to know some of them quite well and we were constantly amazed how some of them learned English while we were there. I sometimes wonder if they think of us with happy memories. Sadly i don't remember any names. I think the older people didn't like us much as we had to guard 2 old Serbian women and the Serb church in the town. It was our job:( Podujevo will always have a special place in my memories.

  • did u really like this town that much?

my father was born in a village near of podujevo :)

haha one guy doing haircuts knows my father a lot, i love this street where he works :D

restaurants are so cheap but very good ;)

  • When I am in Kosova, I visit this cafe alot. It has changed alot.

  • The old town is looking good in this video! I'm a British Soldier who served in Podujevo in 2001-2002 and again in 2002-2003. I loved the place, and the guys doing haircuts round near the police station and near the market were the best! Long live Kosovo!
