Here's a recording of me performing in Jordan Hall during the Chopin Festival at NEC in 2010-

Recorded live in Jordan Hall at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston on February 11th, 2011. Piano transcription of Marche au Supplice, the 4th movement of Symphonie Fantastique. This performance is part of the "Lisztomania" series at NEC celebrating the Liszt bicentennial. Alexander is a student of Randall Hodgkinson. Many thanks to Simon Yue for videotaping this.

  • I've always heard the symphonic version played without the repeat. This makes for a 4:30 to 4:45 minute work. I like a piano clip where you can see the artist's hands. Nice work, Alex.

  • Vraiment stupéfiant, comme un seul piano peut....... remplacer tout un orchestre symphonique, en apportant la même émotion, sur une oeuvre que personnellement je mets au-dessus de tout.

    Un grand bravo à l'interprète++++++++++++++

  • Bravo!
