@sw1000xg A GTR is not a performance car. Its a computer on wheels that goes fast. It has a twin turbo boring V6 with a thousand hp or whatever and a AWD system with numerous computers on it so you don't crash. A Porsche/Ferrari/anything that idiots put in the sentence 'Haha that POS _____ isn't as fast as a GTR' will most surely have soul and character. If you offered me a GTR in replacement of my 156 GTA, i'd tell you to piss off. It's not about the numbers. It's about how it makes you feel.

Every supercar video on youtube....you have 12 year old GT-R fanboys crying... even the most famous japanese car reviewers like Keichi Tsuchya admited that compared to cars like Lamborghini Gallardo GT-R is not faster on a track because it can do a lap or two and then it slows down because everything starts to overheat because of weight. He said that GT-R is NOT a real supercar, but just a car tuned to do a fast hot-lap.

@sw1000xg Porsche sells their closest rivals to GT-R which are the 911 Turbo and 911 GT3 way more expensive because they CAN. In fact, they still sells in large amount of units worldwide. The Porsches are more expensive because of it's heritage, racing pedigree, brand, quality and durability. Take stock GT3 and GT-R in the same track for numerous laps, we'll see which one overheats and slowing down first.

@sw1000xg And by the way, GT-R is not faster than all those cars you mentioned. Its got a faster lap time ONLY on nurburgring because: 1) it was driven on slick track tires 2) it was driven by nissans official car tester who could push it to the limit. Other supercars were all (except corvettes) driven on normal non-slick road tires and by car journalists who could not drive them to limit. Experiance of driving a ferrari, porsche, lambo is light years ahead of driving a gt-r.

GT-R is far far far from being a enjoyable to drive and as good of a car as any of those is. Its a digital car driver by computers. Thats what makes it fast and thats what makes it a BAD sports car, because believe it or not (and you will realize that once you drive a car), its not about lap times, its about how the car feels and how it drives.
