2012 Not the End of the World...

You can call me a conspiracy theorist or a panic monger, but I have to go with my feelings on what I think is coming for us in December 2012 and beyond.

I say and beyond because I do not believe that Dec 21, 2012 will be the end of the world but rather that it will be a time in which our world as we know it will go through massive change.

For many years, long before I had heard about 2012 as a date of change, I have had an ominous feeling that I could not explain (Like Neo, in the Matrix). I feel that something is fundamentally wrong (or going to be wrong) in the future that will change our destiny, more than anything in recorded history has.

I am expecting that some of what is being discussed will come true there will be atmospheric change that will destroy parts of our world as we know it and that there will be many deaths, much pain and suffering and that we need to be prepared for it to some degree.

Coastal cities will be in jeopardy as well as smaller land masses (like the UK) and I fear that many will choose to ignore all that has been written in eons past.

I have started to formulate our own survival plan; I spent many years in the Army and I know how to survive when things get tough. I would like to hope that others will do the same if things turn out far worse than I expect, it is likely that we may come close to the extinction of Humanity.

However, my hope for 2013 is that if we do weather this disaster, that the people of the world will shed their differences, cultural bias, religious rhetoric and socio-sexual bigotry and learn to live as truly one race the Human Race and become the peaceful planetary society that we need to become.

This is my hope for what lies after 2012.
