Wet December Downtown Amsterdam Walk (12.29.11 - Day 546)

Together with Carnamom and Chibi I visit downtown Amsterdam on this rainy Thursday. After parking the car on a roofrop and enjoying the overview of Amsterdam's city center from above, we went to Rembrandtplein to have breakfast on a terrace. Then we walk through the Kalvertoren mall and Kalverstraat shopping street, cross over Dam Square into Damstraat, walk all the way to Waterlooplein where we visit a pet shop with a resident French Bulldog. Chibi enjoys the view, being all high and mighty in her buggy!
Then we go to a brown café for a drink and walk down to Leidseplein for yet another drink, at an Irish Bar. Then it's time for dinner, which we had at an Indonesian restaurant. Excellent food, excellent fun and the footage to remember it by!

Awwww - Chibi looks so cute in her stroller - my pug definitely wouldn't be so good! Great views of Amsterdam - thanks for sharing. Is that view over the flower market open to the public?

@piggyduff You don't know until you try, perhaps your pug would behave the complete oposite of what you'd expect when driven around in a stroller.. Perhaps you can loan an old human stroller from someone just to try it out for a bit, see her response.. With that experience you can probably judge better than by prejudgement alone. :]

The view from high above was from a parking garage. It is semi open, you can always act you just need to take something to the car parked on the roof, for example..
