  • Make sure they're not muted. Then, go into battery, select the sample you want to route to one of those tracks, then over on the bottom right, it'll show "CH Master." Change that to your preferred track output. Now, it should work. Careful, it'll probably be louder on that new track.

  • Ok, this is how I do it and I hope this is what you're trying to accomplish:

Go to the VSTi menu; between the "E" button and the name "battery," you will see an arrow pointing to the name. Click on that and then click on the outputs you want to enable. Then, scroll down on your track list and you'll see them listed under your "VST instruments" tracks under "battery."

  • hey how do you put the channels from the battery into individual channels in the mixer so i can edit the samples individually?

  • when i install battery 3, there's the standalone, this rvga plugin or something, dxi plugin, the vst and the library. do i just install the vst and the library?

  • @soundwavescience Hey man, just have a question. I'm trying my hand at producing hip-hop beats. Mainly sample beats. And I already have a decent drum machine and sequencer. But was wondering if Battery would be ok for assigning vocal samples (say from like old soul records) to my midi controller? I know it's mainly used for drums, but just wondering if it'd be ok for triggering vocals through a keyboard? Thanks - ROC

  • very helpful man! I've just moved over from Reason to cubase and this helped alot

  • Hey I've just got Battery, I can't work out how to send each cell to its own output channel though. I've checked options which shows I have 16 stereo outputs, but no channels are opened up when I start Battery and when I change the cell's output from master to 'st s/3' etc.. there is no sound output. its probably something simple but I'm hoping you can help me out. I am also using Cubase

    cheers man

  • Thankss

  • lol..did you smoke a fat one before making this video per chance??

  • what can I do if it does not work with my keyboard? So I gave the key range, I tap that specified button, and nothing happens.
