What's really sad is that other races have no issue with our skin colors.. to them we are all black americans. This dilemma is a self inflicted. It's our own people who nurture and continue this nonsense. Who cares what shade you are.. If you don't love your self and what was given to you, how do you expect someone else to. It's self hate. If you have brown skin and are perfectly content with it (as you should be) then thumbs up this.

Nar i think you reading to much into it. Im white - pale, i use fake tan, used to use sun beds etc to be darker. Black people, like to blech to make themselves whiter. Think about it, opposites attract. Nobody can both black and white. (unless ur mixed race i suppose haha), but people like to be other than what they are, they see beauty in thier opposites & try to look similar. People get bored, dye thier hair etc. Black men date white women and black women date whte men. Opposites attract.

Be yourself. Advertising companies are disgusting people who will do anything to make you think you need to look like whatever their product does. All women are beautiful, maybe not to me, but someone on this planet will think anyone is beautiful. Opinion is just that. If someone wants to tan or bleach their skin color, that's an issue with their own insecurities. Women of all colors are beautiful, and there is someone out there who will think so.

The only people that really benefits from skin bleaching are the companies that sell make up products.They make all their money on womens low self esteem and self hate.It is rare nowadays to find a women with all natural beauty.

i think its because of getting acceptance from the bros.. if our dads told their baby girls they were pretty, we wouldnt have this problem...ALSO, THE C/RAPPERS are pushing the envelope on the lightskin darkskin mess..also, many chocolate sisters i know are married to white and other non black men
