hey this is also Calbee219.
lol no particular reason actually.
But I guess its good this way because I think most of my subscribers are here to view Final Fantasy videos. Im just doubting that have many subscribers because of Chopin, cuz my Chopin way pretty mediocre. Anyway I really hope to show more Chopin pieces in the future. I have a lot in my memory bank, but none of them are finished pieces hahahah

Zanarkand recording was beatiful, and I havent looked at the piano collections version, but in the game version when the actual melody begins, that first arpeggio goes E, B, E, F#, G, A, then when your right hand plays the B,G "chord", your left hand goes down to C and then to G. Then your right hand plays F# for 2 beats while your left hand rests for one, and plays F# for the second. Then right hand plays E for two beats while left hand plays E for first beat and C for second.

Too bad we can't see the actual footage of you playing this... It's absolutely amazing. By the way, have you ever tried playing Chopin's Nocturne Op. 9, No. 2? It's a really beautiful piece, and I think I could probably listen to it forever if you played it, haha. Please do consider! Thanks.

One of the best recordings of the nocturne I have heard thus far:) Impressive!

Your zanarkand sounds really cool. Nice play with the pedal. I would like to hear this version in better audio. So I can play it in my car :)

laptop recording is a real pain, but sounds good. The problem is if it's too far away, it gets disjointed or too soft. Too close, there is feedback on the lower registers especially. You must have had to practice positioning your laptop a lot. I still haven't gotten the hang of it. Anyways, very nice rendition.
Buy yourself a mic (one designed for music), plug it in to your laptop, and you're sure to have better sound quality. Get yourself some recording software -- Audacity is free and does basic stuff. Other programs out there exist if you don't like Audacity or it's not technical/powerful enough.
As far as these recordings go, the music is awesome, of course. But it's way too quiet (as you know) and I am hearing an electronic buzzing sound in the background.
Love your music, keep it up!

Hi, thanks for the guidance. I have no knowledge of microphones. Do you have one in particular that you would recommend?

Zanarkand: Just as good as ever.
Besaid Island: Your second recording a while back inspired me to learn this piece, and you just play it to near perfection.
Nocturne in Bb Minor: Awesome.
Waltz in C# Minor: Holy s***!
And there's your critique. Waltz definitely sounds like a fun song to play! Also, the quality of your laptop recordings isn't too shabby either. 5*
