Keep up the good work Chris. Your assembly of detailed evidence of war crimes and educational work about war law is informing people about just how bankrupt the British is in relation to the Iraq and Afghan wars. The Chilcot "inquiry" is a joke. Witnesses do not swear an oath--no risk of perjury. No barristers to examine them forensically. Just cosy chats between establishment worthies. And any controversial evidence in secret. Your work is a breath of fresh air.

Sartre & Russell tried this tack back in the 1960s over Vietnam.

Force Majeure usually has the last word.

The idea that individuals bringing legal cases against governments to stop their incessant war-mongering may be noble, but would be ineffective.

Still, it is a point of view I can respect.

Terry, it's all part of helping each other get a grip on what is happening - what he is saying is that we have to mobilise in large numbers (which is true) to challenge those whose actions are illegal and harmful, especially those in Government.

Discrimination laws (and we see many cases these days) are enforced because lots of people do bring prosecutions - because in this area of law, most are well informed, know their rights.

Few people know anything about war law, hence it is not enforced.

The problem is that making wars "illegal" doesn't stop them happening.

I wish it did.

@terry.. "making wars "illegal" doesn't stop them happening"

In the same way the government believing that we'll continue to pay taxes, fines etc.. just because some "legal" documents say so.

There is is HUGE difference between what is Legal and what is Lawful. Wars aren't Lawful. What the government considers to be Illegal is largely irrelevant if we remove our consent to be governed by their legal Statutes and Acts of Parliament, and instead live under Common Law.

I'd love to see these elite assholes answer for their crimes. I just don't think they ever will.

If the government is telling the truth behind the events of 9/11, why do they have to hire people to give out false information? Issues like 9/11 have lately attracted a lot of attention from people using tactics meant to deceive and/or distract. It is disturbing to learn this is being done, but can also make you dig deeper to unbury the truth.
