The "official" death toll for Jews in concentration camps stands at 6 million. Back in the late 90's the figure for those who died at Auschwitz was quietly downgraded from 4 million to 1 million. I have a degree in Mathematics so I can add and subtract. I posed the question that shouldn't the 6 million be adjusted then to 3 million to reflect the Auschwitz downgrade (6 - 3 = 3).
