It's a beta version right now but it should be launched on CES 2009. Looks like it could be the Google Chrome OS

gOS is good os its not by google even at the bottom of the website in its disclaimer it says 'Cloud and gOS are not affiliated with Google or their partners'
congrats you are about the 50th person in one year (yeah this video is that old) to try to educate us about something that we already know for over 2 years, since the first gOS came out. Read the description please. In December 2008 (yeah i did this video way back in 08) it was an outlook on how Chrome OS could look like!
I could see dual booting this next to a full version of Windows, but no way in hell would I pay more than $20 on a netbook that has ONLY this on it. I mean, what a waste. Why spend even $200 on it when you can buy a netbook or iPod Touch or PDA (lol, PDAs are so 90s) that does all of this and more?
Chrome os is one step in the right direction. Cloud computing is the future. Its kinda crap to update your system at home again and again. Imagine how much power could be saved if everyone would have low budget laptops with low energy consumption and play the newest games, edit vids or just run 20 programs at once. Gogogo evolution!!
