Don't wear a helmet because the risk of crashing is clearly a lesser risk than being swooped on by a magpie. Am I understanding this correctly?

I am currently being stalked by a magpie outside my apartment complex. He just cut the side of my face. I am wearing black, is he cock-blocking me because he thinks I'm bigger & blacker or what?
