  • nah, its a legit echo 1...not an imposter

  • Echo 1 are chinese clones just upgraded

    Don't expect much

  • @rusher38 your statement kind of contradicts itself...if they're upgraded, then I should expect more from them than just a stock chinese clone like CYMA...

  • so I followed your instructions on how to put it together. it worked. But when i placed the motor and mech box back in the gun the gun made a noise when i tried to fire it as if the battery was dead, but i checked and it wasn't. Does anyone know what is wrong? (fuse wasn't broken either.)

  • sounds like something is jammed...take it apart and put everything back together...making sure you have the piston lined up on the rails, and the gears properly set in the bushings...

  • Yeah, lol...when I get some spare time. I'm planning to do a good/better/best side by side walkthru of ver 2 mechboxes and m4s...

  • @ETKSauron Hes right just upgraded clones. Clones arnt good to begin with and the upgrades are minor so no contradiction.

  • the new echo 1s are better, but i would still not buy it.

  • Many guns do not even have any shims, so thats normal.

  • MOST not all...but MOST of E1's internals are jg or cyma or the like. echo 1 every now and then throws in bearings or a metal spring guide or a "madbull" hop up bucking. and same goes for externals but e1 just paints on a pretty little logo

  • Wow I have a WELL m4 and the gearbox is the same, spring attached to piston, plastic bushings, and way to much over greased

  • cylinder port size doesn't matter, its how far up the port is that matters.

  • @IKEELYOUNOW Echo1 adds probably very few small upgrades. Not many of their older guns, or V2 boxes have the upgrades. As we all know, Chinese can make good V3s. Buying an Echo1 AK you may have shimmed gears, or a madbull hopup bucking.

Echo1 SLIGHTLY modifies from the Chinese companies. You are still way better off buying Chinese though. The few modifications they do, DOES NOT make up for the extra money you pay for the gun.

  • @kirk17 yeah Echo 1 is stepping up their quality a bit

  • @rusher38 actually Echo1s arent even upgraded, there just reboxed in an echo1 box. Echo1 is a distrubuter of airsoft guns, all they do is sell em and put em in new boxes.

  • The gearbox on the Echo 1 STAG15 is amazing for the price. My friend broke the air nozzle on his and I had to repace it. It had a nice hefty reinforced black gearbox, the reinforcement reminds me of the KWA 2GX, but thats really the only similarity. The spur gear had an 8mm bearing on one side and an 8mm bushing on the other. the other gears had 6mm metal bushings. the plastic components seemed reasonably sturdy, but the spring was also attached to the piston. decent wiring. fast w/ G&Pm120motor
