Russia has separarated two regions of Georgia from the rest of the country -this is how the BBC special reporter qualifies the Kremlin police after the August war in a story aired on the TV channel.
The reporter went to the Kodory Valley and described the life of Georgians there. The correspondent says the villages along the borders of Abkhazia look like desert, schools and houses are ruined, but the gunmen are still plundering them because this is the territory inhabited by ethnic Georgians.
The reporter says he had to pass a checkpoint of Russian occupants to travel to the Kodory valley. At the end of the story, the narrator says the war is over but the fate of local Georgians is still vague.
`But not security is the thing that keeps Russia here, but natural resources of Abkhazia,` the reporter says in the story.
