Film #1:
This is a short film entry for a Brick Films Halloween Competition, I came in 2nd place !

I no longer want any association with the website mentioned above and the end credits of my film, or its management.

Please see the link below for a really good Brick Filming website, run by fans for fans and for those of you that want to learn how to animate bricks !

I am pretty happy with considering this is my first ever go at 'Brickfilming'.

Shot over 10 days using a Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000 webcam & AnimatorDV Simple+. It's approximately 2,700 frames in total, editing on Sony Vegas Pro 8. The dialogue was recorded using Audacity and the numerous sound effects were either created by myself or downloaded from freeware/Royality free sites, credited at the end of the movie. I also used MorphVox Pro voice manipulation software for the Demon / Dementor minifig character you see at the start of the film. To get the film to synch in with the pre-recorded dialogue & sounds I used WavTracker, this was invaluable & freeware !!! I also used Gimp for the masking in some of the scenes. This too is freeware and simple to use.

Oh and in case some of you didn't get the reference - Kessler = David Kessler, the main character from 'An American Werewolf In London'. I used Morpheus Photo Morpher to create the werewolf transformation.

If you want to learn how to make your own Brick Films, please visit the best site there is on the subject:

http://www.bricksinmotion.com

The forums there are full of friendly and helpful people with loads of advice to share. The website itself is still under construction at this time, but will hopefully be up and running soon.
