the music is very wrong for this amazing clip
-
punk and fashion are two words that should not be combined

This show was in 1980, not 1982 - I was shooting stills at it and my roommate did makeup.

This show took place in 1980, not 1982! I was one of the photographers and my roommate did most of the makeup.

What a cool video... yet the choice of music is tragic. I have nothing against modern techno / electronica, but wouldn't it have been cool if you had used the songs of that era that were used in the underground fashion scene? Music by Klaus Nomi, Blondie, Nena Hagen, Lene Lovich, Gang of Four, Richard Hell, i've just scratched the surface.

@kfbeau The effen barbies had a dozen or so band members....tabboo should had made millions, jon pierson shouldn't had made millions but did, his attitude blows, dennis menard is a great artist and talent in amsterdam, mark morrisroe is famously dead

The Fing Barbies play on several occasions, I know members came and went but there were a few key Barbies like Stephen Tashjian who moved to New York and became legendary Tabboo. Regarding this video, bad choice of soundtrack music WTF, great to see my old haunt on video though, too bad punk fashion was on the outs by the end of summer 1981.

hey tony... do we have buy advance tickets for the spit reunion or can we pay at the door? i've got a couple of old punks coming up from manhattan that used to be spit regulars back in the day, they're staying at hojo's across from the twelve and they'll have a gay nervous breakdown if they can't get into the club
