Angry Mob Attacks TV News Reporter

Well another reporter has been attacked and it isn't in Egypt or any other hot spot in the Middle East. Nope, it happened right here in America in Sacramento, California as an angry mob attacked a reporter and camerawoman for filming the news. Someone in their family or one of their friends was killed in a shooting and the news crews was their to film the story. The mob didn't like the fact that they were there and decided to attack and assault the reporter and crew.

The video is quite clear and it should be easy for the police to bring charges up on these thugs. You can see the camerawoman get separated from the male reporter and her hair is pulled taking her to the ground and then she is kicked in the face.

A group of about two dozen angry mourners attacked a news crew reporting on the killing of a 27-year-old man in California. The Sacramento Bee reports that the two-person crew from KTXL-TV was attacked in a parking lot Sunday afternoon.

The station's news director, Brandon Mercer, says multimedia journalist Rebecca Little was pulled to the ground by her hair and kicked, and reporter John Lobertini rushed in to help.

Mercer did not know the extent of Little's injuries. Police arrived and dispersed the crowd. Officers say the group had gathered after the man was fatally shot around 2:40 a.m. Sunday. Investigators believe the shooting happened after two groups started arguing inside a restaurant.
