this is a great song. I am a hockey mom and I rarely get any credit for all the work I do. two boys both in different levels and sometimes it's hard to juggle. I listened to the zamboni's version of the song and it was a terrible sound recording. I couldn't really make out what they were singing. All the other hockey mom's have been telling me about this song. I can never catch it on the radio so it was nice to finally hear it for the first time. Thanks for the post.

Well, I was being sarcastic. And I mentioned that you used your chance to politicize Obama by mentioning that you were voting for him. This is much like Heart who made a stink over them using Barracuda at the RNC. I think it's just silly, honestly. Music speaks to all people in thousands of different ways. I wasn't attacking you and I am the most political person on youtube. Trust me.

There's nothing un-American about it. It may be inappopriate, because it's so hateful of people who disagree, but it's not un-American. America is unfortunately all about hating people. And she has every right to express her views, and I welcome her views.

I have no problem with anything you wrote, except for two things:

First, that you think it's "politicizing" to have a little bit of fun with something we have in COMMON.

Second, that you hate Sarah Palin just because you disagree with her. I wrote a new song, st06903, in honor of you, and others who feel as you do. I posted it last night. It's called "I Hate You." It's a song from your perspective.

Wow. I just wrote that I liked his cover of a song that my husband's band wrote & mentioned that it would have been nice if he hadn't politicized it (b/c they hadn't). His disc. is, "In honor of Gov. Sarah Palin, a cover of The Zambonis..." If he posted it w/out Palin mentioned we would not be here.

We still have the 1st Amend., right? I suppose he can say what he feels & I can say what I feel (& apparently so can you) whatever the forum...

Oprah politicizes her stage for one, and ditches the other. And in point of fact; you politicized THIS video by immediately pointing out who YOU were voting for.
