The Eurofighter is basically a lightweight Dassault Rafale with construction 82% composites = 70% carbon fibre composites + 12% glass reinforced composites. Controversy about the Eurofighter Typhoon design and performance could not decide if the Eurofighter is a 4.5th-generation jet fighter aircraft or fifth-generation fighter aircraft.

Eurofighter has failed as a project so as ONE power, ONE state is to be in charge of production of and development of such aircraft. The French had suspected that it could have and would lead that way and refused to participate in it. Eurofighjter is an expensive and useless flying tank, stuffed with faulty electronics. German, Bristish, Italian and Spanish engineers are great, but they should have developed thier fighters separately- there must be ONE person in charge.
