The latest installment in the obsession with getting this junker to half a million miles on the original drivetrain :) Still going. This is on Arizona Hwy 87 southbound near Fountain Hills, Arizona on my way home from work on 5/19/2011. I'll be back from the moon in just a couple thousand miles! Car is dirty; it rained yesterday. • How is the head gasket? Did you replace it?

  • @MatthewMatician Original. Turned over 495,000 today.

  • @4cruizn You must have turned over half million by now. I sure hope you recorded this!

  • @itsmegp46 Turned 500k on 11/4/2011. Video pending!

  • dude you should retire him at 500000 and preserve it. Not many of those left in the world. Turn it into a classic car plates and all....lol. Still looks good too. How do you keep your engine so clean? anyway hope to see him turn 5 soon....

  • @mi777ke777 Engine bay doesn't get too bad here in AZ, just a little dusty from time to time. I use wax on all the painted parts and Aero 303 protectant on plastic/rubber stuff.

  • All Original! nice

  • @4cruizn Congrats. Bulletproof powertrains once maintained. Does everything on the car work, all the options?

  • @4cruizn We can't wait!

  • @hondaftw1234 They're not getting any younger and the pool of these cars is shrinking daily.

  • When do you plan on hitting 500k?

  • @MatthewMatician All you have to do keep up with the radiator fluid. Make sure that it's full at all times. I kept doing that and it never blown once.

  • @4cruizn Congratulations!!! I'm afraid mine might blow at 120,000 miles. The car is only at 96,000. What did you do to prevent it? Thanks for the feedback.
