Yes there is a belief that we did in fact see the attack Japan was going to carry out. I do not deny that and do not deny possibility that this was in fact planned. You mean it would explain why we moved the carriers out of Pear Harbor, not why we moved ships together.

I don't know if the debts we have will be paid. Remember that it is the European crisis that is also keeping U.S economy from stabilizing.

I didn't say U.S helped much in WW1. We just helped put Germany at the table of defeat sooner (however many analyst believe it would have been a stalemate had we not joined).

We wanted free trade, not just to trade with Germany. British propaganda and Germany's U-boat campaigns is what led U.S to finally side with GB.
