Just letting you know, Ebi (or えび) doesn't necessarily mean dried prawns, but prawns or shrimp in general :)
Oh yeah, and I use a lot less rice vinegar, only about a tablespoon per cup of cooked rice...

@Critique808 It didn't. It was spread out over something like 6-8 rolls.

That is just too much sugar and msg. You'll give people a major headache from the msg reaction.

@CookingAndCrafting hmmmm. Perhaps I can send Pat to you for a couple of weeks...

@CookingAndCrafting Oh ok, definetely do not want eel. I don't even think they would make it with eel in this part of Australia... Hahaha thats not a bad thing. I will try some and let you know what I think. :)
Mmmmmm. It looks wonderful! Now that we are going to be having a lot of sticky rice ( :-) ) I will have to try this. As a matter of fact, Pat suggested it yesterday and he isn't a fan of sushi.
I am.

We're @ Aulani hotel. 3/5 stars. I had heard of the hype of this new hotel and i must honestly say, "it is what it is". I guess with time gone by, ill stay there again. In the mean time, ill go back to the Halekulani hotel where we usually stay for Probowl thats if Hawaii still host the Probowl. It'll suck if the Probowl moves from Hawaii but, we cross our fingers so it stays in Hawaii. Btw, I dont watch but we heard "live w/kelli show" will be taping @ Aulani hotel sometime soon. Stay tuned...

@4everf8ful777 Hmm. You know they have a 'special' for kama'aina and it was like $500 a day. I was thinking unless they came in, gave me a massage 3x/day, washed my clothes, feed me peeled grapes, I'm not sure I would ever stay there. It may be fun for a day to play in the water there. Did you get my email about the bento?
