Dickey Betts tears it up at the Society for Ethical Culture on 5/11/2009. I shot from the first row of the balcony. Too bad that bass player had to block my view for a lot of the amazing solo! But still pretty good footage of one of our good ole' southern guitar heros!!

Those who try to replace Dickey and Duane are destined to become footnotes in history. Dickey and Duane are legends. Dickey seems to be going through his own revival,and playing some of the best music in decades! Just saw his show @the Birchmere and he and G.Southern have captured the sound and energy that The Allmans had years ago. Its truly a joy to see him play this well.The whole band was smilling all night,and so were We!!!
