The 4G63 I-Dragster at the 2010 Cecil County Lucas Oil Divisional Race. We went two back to back 7.18's in qualifying with a much improved MPH over last season. The car is making great power at less boost than last year.

Still barely fast enough to qualify in comp should run 6.6 put a 5spd it'll fly. Real race cars have 3 pedals

Very cool car. What is the transmission? I have a turbocharged drag car with an automatic and I'm trying to figure out how to launch with boost.

Pity nitrous isnt allowed.. Would do wonders for that intial 2step spool.

What do you think made the trap speed go up so much while running almost a full bar less boost???? Very cool.

Absolutly awesome, your just ahead of me again now, hahaha.
Only thing though, how can you be even remotely competitive needing so long to spool up? In a proper race the other guy would be finished before your on your 2 step?
I can get "on full song" in less than 2 seconds from when I bring on the 2nd stage lights and even that is only "just" quick enough when running the same tree as you had there.

@RIPSNZ In competition, we stage the car at a much higher RPM and it doesn't take long to get to the 2 step. You can see how we do that in the video from the Dutch Classic last year when we made it to the Semi Finals. Staging the car that way puts a lot of extra wear on the transmission though so we typically only do it in actual competition.
