2008 Grammy Award Winner Pinetop Perkins playing Muddy Water's version of "Got My Mojo Working" last year at the Broken Spoke in Austin, Texas. Thank You James White. Thank You Debra Peters and thank you Pinetop.
Pinetop Perkins, legendary blues and honky tonk piano player, sitting in with Debra Peters and the Love Saints at The Broken Spoke February 13th, 2007. At age 93 Pinetop can still belt out a tune and bring down the house. Absolutely phenomenal. Debra Peters accordion, Will Indian Sr. guitar, Grady Pinkerton guitar, Steve Wheless drums and Vic Gerard on bass. On this night they all got their Mojo Working. Blues, Polka, Rock and Roll.
Fare thee well to one of the last old timers. He will live on forever with the music he left behind. Thanks, Pinetop.
