The corporations only went overseas because they can pay the people pennies, force them to live on sight, and dump toxins in the land, waters, and air that cause numerous deaths and countless safety issues.
If you want that here and let little Jane and Tommy drink brown sewer water, than make it clear that you support that.
Otherwise, the other alternative is import tariffs. You'll see those plants come right back!
Such a good comedian! I mean, the non-unionized workers doing the same work you did received far less than you, even if one factors out the 55 dollar monthly expense. Back when Union membership accounted for nearly 30% of the labor force, our economy was robust and strong because everyone had a bit more in their pocketbook and possessed actually EQUITY, something that today's bank mortgaged and auto-leased society can only dream of.
Its all about the money..........that the employees make? Hmm.... is it really bad for an organization like a union to want someone ELSE to be successful? By proxy of increased wages at Walmart, the local economy would be greatly enriched through increased tax revenue, increased business and consumerism, and the push for improved wages at other businesses which would further escalate the positive effects mentioned above.
The right to UNION is a FEDERAL PROTECTED RIGHT/LAW--if Walmart trys to stop you from talking amongst each other about creating a local union then they, Walmart, are in violation of Federal labor laws! What they have done in the past is simply close down locations that have successfully unionized. That is their dirty little trick to get around unions and obeying the law...I AM BOYCOTTING WALMART all together until they start paying their AMERICAN WORKERS LIVABLE WAGES& respect for US labor law
complaining about not enough fellow staff to help out with customers? how about the employee's that are taking their place while they go 'voice' themselves.
seems a bit high for such an easy job when someone who actually puts forth some effort with high labor intensity make 10 or 12.. The union has no place anywhere in my eyes. to them it's all about the money.
I will take about the same in my pocket because of union dues on top of taxes... I was paying close to 55 buck a month to union that I could have used for something else to benefit me, the unions have done nothing but break the back of this country on top of 35% business tax rates it makes business move overseas, the union once had it's time and place and they no longer have a place in america, people at international where I live make over $20hr operating an air wench putting lugs on a truck.
