In the penultimate video in the Black Eyed Peas E.N.D. Tour/John Lennon Educational Tour Bus series, BEP guitarist George Pajon gives a demo with his Gibson Dusk Tiger guitar through the Avid/Digidesign Eleven Rack. The Dusk Tiger isn't any normal guitar. It tunes itself with "robot tuners" to various different tunings. Watch as Pajon pulls out a knob, and the guitar is almost instantly tuned to open G. Then with another turn of the knob, it's back to standard. File this in the "What will they think of next?" category. Technology is awesome.

AWESOME guitar and the 11 RACK is my favorite to use live and recording. with these 2 together there is virtually NO tone that you can NOT get.
I use the Eleven Rack in all my studio and recording work. Love it. Wish they had more Dusk Tiger's for sale but ALAS they are ALL gone and won't be coming back EVER.
The NEW Robot guitars are Firebirds and they have all the effects like distortion, chorus, delay and all that on the guitar and you control all EFX with knobs and such on them.

@deanr46 The Dusk Tiger is beautiful ! I'd give anything except my Taylor T5 to have one. Anyway, if you don't like the Dusk, why don't you look at the other Robot Gibsons, such as the Dark Fire, or some other less known Robot Gibsons

Finally, I can learn my favourite songs without taking forever, risking breaking a string tuning the guitar in an unusual configuration, and not have to spend a fortune buying different Gibson guitars. Shame it's so ugly!
