pole dancing is not a slutty thing. gymnastics involves spread legs and shit, but nobodys calling THAT a slutty sport. now what if there were no poles in strip clubs, and strippers were all gymnasts who took their clothes off? gymnastics would be slutty. and it wouldnt be in the olympics.

pole dance is very similar to belly dance. it can be amazing w/ a touch of sensuality.. SO WHAT! and i dont see anybody calling bellydancers sluts either.

but women are different creatures and we like things that are pretty and things that smell good... so we dress up and have a good time (pole)dancing all by ourselves b/c WOMEN LIKE TO DANCE. WE LIKE TO DO FEMININE THINGS B/C WE ARE FEMININE. now, pole dancing DOES have some sexual content, but it depends on who's dancing. these ppl are not sexual a/b it, but honestly i would be SENSUAL in my dance b/c i am a woman and we are sensual by nature. look, the point is.. okay im gonna be real right now... pole dancing IS liberating and self empowering. getting those tricks down, spinning in the air.. it all involves serious strength and it feels good to see and feel your body transform as you do it. learning new tricks is the equivalent to a guy adding more weights on a bar each time he visits the gym. it feels good to know youre getting stronger. and they're all macho about it (cont)

You were the one that compared pole dancing to horizontal bars in gymnastics. And I don't have a problem with this video,what guy doesn't mind watching pole dancers?Pole dancing, as it is at the moment reeks of sexual content, horizontal bars, which you made a comparison to,has no sexual content,since you made the comparison,I asked why don't the pole dancers switch to the horizontals?Well,evidently they like the poles and the predominantly sexualized style of expression,observation,not opinion

Well then why don't these women choose the horizontal bars then?? They're intentionally choosing pole dancing which is undoubtedly, primarily a source of male arousal, also have you even seen an Olympic gymnast dancing in an intentionally sexual context? I think YOU should think before you speak!
