Pure Sci Fi as in Sci Fi Channel.

AVP:R....Cash Junkies trying to redeem it's self but EPICALLY failing

This film would have been fine if it wasn't a sequel to the previous 2. Although the decision to kill of Newt and Hicks i think remains one of the worst in cinema history...

Plus they make the mistake of showing far too much of the alien itself, especially with awful CGI. Part of what made the original so terrifying is that you saw very little of the alien itself, it was all left to your imagination.

It's a good film in other ways. ten times better than shitty Alien Resurrection (more Alien funeral) i like it ten times better in Davd Fincher's two disc release with the creature bursting from a cow instead of the other version - from a dog.

the characters are awesome and real and desperate but i felt after ALIEN 3 we needed a new hero but foz had other ideas... just sad

The first 3 alien films were completly different to each other. I respect and love them all though.

I cant believe people moan about this film.

The plot is no more simple then the last alien films. Maybe people do not like it so much due to the number of english actors? Maybe i do have the bias because i am uk based. But remember all the alien films were made in the uk at pinewood.

The photography in this film is much better then the first 2 films. The soundtrack was great also. But people to not see that? I guess most saw this a step back from the action of aliens.
