  • @fntime The purpose of Zen is to accept things as they are. Does God resists what people do? Zen don't think so. Envious feeling that has a reserved purpose or goal. Zen is not envious about anything. According to Zen, conflicts in this world are all caused by some fixed ideas or one sided idea. Zen mind dwells on things that will help us from our suffering. Do you think it's not a problem for you if will not reach your goal? If God gave us our mind to have goals, then, God gave us problems?

  • What then is the purpose?

In the very end, it must lead to something, even if it's just being

    or being one with reality.

If you will not obtain purpose, joy,or any goal, even if it's only

    awareness of yourself,then why?

Understanding of the limitations of thought is extremely valuable,

but I sometimes think, if the creator didn't want us to

think, he won't have given us a racinating mind.

Does zen envy the dog? A creature one with its nature and

    the universe,without the 'computer' mind.

  • Thanks!
