New State, new Crossing, Same ol' CSX line. We are located in Downtown Mobile, Alabama, near the Mobile Cruise Ship Terminal, as well as Austal Marines ship building company. This crossing is at the beginning of a Quiet Zone due to Hotels being nearby hating the noise of the trains. We have 2 AC4400W's leading the charge. It has a nice long freight train. Dont expect more Alabama videos for a little longer. The Alabama Collection wont go into full production until After I move to Mobile, AND the Florida collection comes to an end. Just a preview.

  • An Update To This Crossing!! This Crossing is Currently Defunct!

  • Aww man, you're moving to 'Bama?! Dangit.

  • Yea dude, sorry. Its the only area around that actually has Welding jobs. There are 0 welding jobs in Pensacola, so I will be moving sometime in January, so the Florida Collection will be ending in a couple months.

  • NICE!!!! I love that K5LA and the AC4400CW a long with a AC6000CW!! 5*****!!!

  • @moon47mars the 2nd unit is another AC4400W. The AC6000CW series are 603 to 699 and they have twin lightning bolts on the number board. plus there's a blue outline on the ourside of the yellow CSX which is the biggest giveaway its a 6000. I just got one today on my phone.

  • r u still in alabama?

  • That sucks. You're the only person that railfans in P-Cola. Well, now I won't have a chance to railfan with you in P-Cola after january. Crap.

  • They are both AC4400CW's.

  • Fair comment.

  • No I don't. Still, my philosophy is that people shouldn't live next to an active railroad unless they know what they will have to deal with. I hate how the railroad has to appease these people who bitch and moan about noise when they chose to live there in the first place.

  • Guess you don't live in an area where Freight trans run!
