The Vikings started the game behind 21-0. They rallied back to being down by 6 with less then 10 seconds left at the one yard line, when Joe Webb is very clearly pulled down by his face mask, the referees don't call anything.

  • Ok, we all know that the ball came out before the facemask, but that doesn't make the play legal. If it were legal, then anytime a running back or anyone fumbled it, all nearby defense would throw him to the ground by the facemask so he can't pick it up

  • look again, he didn't have possession of the ball when the face mask occurred. its only a facemask if you have control of the ball, good no call

  • @BigWillieSupreme82 so are you saying if one lineman throws another to the ground by the facemask the refs shouldn't throw a flag? It doesn't matter if he has the ball or not

  • It's called being biased and hypocritical. Ever since Favre joined our team, the NFL has secretly hated us. Why do you think we got screwed at least 7 times IN A ROW in the NFC championship. Every Viking fan watching that game KNEW we were getting screwed out of a win, yet the NFL does nothing but send a "formal apology". I swear, I've noticed at least one thing in EVERY game since the NFC title game where the Vikings are being screwed over.

  • @ngwongwo lol you mad

  • I don't know why anyone would diss the vikings. No Adrian Peterson, and a second string quarterback comes in, and for a couple quarters, beats the Piss out of a 10-6 team. Vikings have character.

  • @BigWillieSupreme82 Doesn't matter as it's still a defensive penalty.

  • screw you queers! we whoop! home field advantage!suck my nuts!

  • A facemask is never legal even when he loses possession You guys are dumb

  • @CptKetchup07 BigWillie is right, he just said it wrong. The quarterback lost possession making it a fumbled ball therefore a face mask is legal so to answer your question, yes a lineman could hold a face mask if the ball was fumbled.

  • Any contact to the helmet of the quarterback is a flag, regardless if he has the ball or not.

  • @dayday69 I a not complaining about the loss. You guys won, plain and simple. I just wanted to point out that you do not understand the rules.
