He did the afternoon show on Trent FM for a while in the late 80's/early 90's as well. Can't remember whether it was Nottingham or Derby he was on.
Trent FM Derby is now Ram FM.

Lol, I met him once back in the late 80s and got his autograph. Whenever I tell people, they're usually like "who the hell??!!!". But the ace up my sleeve is that he was with Grotbags!
