@reasonlight Islam means following Allah with a belief of life after death which depends on good deeds. For civilization or culture on this phase of life, a Muslim has full liberty. He should avoid what is forbidden and do what is required.

Islam is not boastful of civilization. The life in this world should be spent according to the will of Allah. Civilization is not the prime consideration of Islam
